The Learning Centre Portal is now available for academic year 2023/24

The EMA and WGLG FE academic year start date will be Monday 11 September 2023. This is when we begin to count the 10 day period for students to sign their learning agreements.

The Welsh Government has announced an increase to the EMA weekly payment. This increase from £30 to £40 is effective from Monday 17 April and applies to all current students receiving EMA, as well as new students in academic year 2023/24. We'll make the first payments in the increased amount on 9 May 2023.

In the meantime, paper application packs are on their way and you should receive them by Monday 24 April. Your students can also download the application forms and guidance from the Student Finance Wales website.
