Learning Centre Portal opening early before Christmas

The Learning Centre Portal is open early for attendance confirmations for the week ending Friday 22 December. You can submit your confirmations from Monday 18 December so they're in place before the holiday period starts.

You must return a weekly attendance confirmation for every student whether they are in attendance or not. Please make sure to update your portal information before you leave for the Christmas break.

Please also submit attendance confirmations for any earlier, unconfirmed weeks that may still be outstanding. You can do this by checking if there is an unconfirmed weeks box in the attendance worklist of your portal.


EMA festive payment date

Due to the Christmas bank holidays, EMA payments for the weeks ending 8 and 15 December may not reach students' bank accounts until Wednesday 27 December. Please can you notify students of this.



Bonus reminder

If you haven’t already done so, you can now confirm your students January bonus on the Confirm Bonus tab of the Learning Centre Portal. Students whose bonus you’ve confirmed will then receive a text message to say they’ll receive their bonus on the next payment date.

You should also make a submission for students who have not achieved their bonus objectives.

You do not need to allocate bonus confirmations for all students at the same time, but you should allocate all of them by the end of January.

Your students must have signed their EMA Learning Agreement Part 2 to be eligible for a January bonus payment. They must have done so no later than 2 December 2023 to be eligible. Completed agreements must be updated on the Learning Centre Portal. Students who did not sign their agreement by then will not be eligible for January bonus.

Over the festive period, their opening hours are:

  • Friday 22 December to Tuesday 26 December – closed
  • Wednesday 27 December to Thursday 28 December – open 9am to 5pm
  • Friday 29 December to Tuesday 2 January – closed

The support desk will return to business as usual on Wednesday 3 January 2024.
