Bulletin for September 2023
Last Updated: 05 Oct 2023
Welcome to academic year 2023/24
Welcome back to a new year of EMA. As always, your assistance with administering EMA for your students is very much appreciated.
If you've had a change in staffing and need any assistance with being trained to use the portal or LC services website, please contact me. I'm happy to arrange to either visit face to face or on occasion I can schedule in a team’s session online.
2023/24 housekeeping reminders
- remove any students from the portal who are no longer at your Learning Centre
- arrange for all your remaining students to sign a new Learning Agreement for 2023/24
- update learning agreement information on the portal within 10 days of an approved application
- confirm attendance for all your students every week, before 5pm on a Wednesday, for the previous week’s attendance
You can find full details of the service standards and guidance documents on our LC Services Website.
Learning agreement reminder texts
We will be sending out ‘sign your learning agreement‘ reminder text messages to students who have not signed a learning agreement during the week commencing 25 September 2023.
Portal enhancements
We've listened to your feedback from this year’s forums and we've added an enhancement to the portal.
We found the most common reason you were contacting us was to change a wrong course start date on a learning agreement. To help reduce this error we've added a warning pop up on the screen prior to you saving the learning agreement details.
We hope this will help you and reduce the need for you to contact with the EMA team in the future.
Learning Centre Services website
Please remember you can find all our guidance documents for EMA on the Learning Centre Services website. Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the layout.
You can find academic year 2023/24 Learning Agreements can still be found on the portal in the downloads section.
