Non-standard academic year


If you have a student who is on a non-standard academic year, such as a January start course, you should follow this process.

  1. The student applies and will receive their Provisional Award Letter.
  2. You should confirm the course details on the Learning Centre Portal as normal and contact our Partners Support Desk.
  3. The student will receive a Final Award Letter confirming their course details, Learning Centre and entitlement amount.
  4. You should confirm the student’s attendance for term 1 and 2 in January and May.
  5. You should then contact our Partners Support Desk to update the student’s attendance for term 3 in September.
