EMA/WGLG applications for academic year 2024/25 - Online service available now

The EMA/WGLG online application service for academic year 2024/25 is now available.

The online service is available in English and Welsh for students to apply here.

Applying online is easy and helps us process forms quickly, so please encourage your students to apply online where possible.

To help promote the online service, we’ve created posters you can display in areas where students will see them. These are available for you to download and print from the LC Services website.

New students must apply within 13 weeks of their course starting to be eligible to receive full backdated payments. If applying online, your students’ 'application received' date will be recorded as the first time they either save or submit their application.

For help with their online application, students can contact us on our helpline number 0300 200 4050. This will be open from Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm.

If your students would prefer a paper application form, they can still ask for one. They can also download a form and guidance from the Student Finance Wales (SFW) website, even if they’ve started an application online.
