Learning Centre Portal opening early before Christmas

The Learning Centre Portal will open early for attendance confirmations for the week ending Friday 23 December. You can submit your confirmations from Monday 19 December so they're in place before the holiday period starts.

To meet the service standards, you must return a weekly attendance confirmation for every student, whether they're in attendance or not. Please make sure to update your portal information before you leave for the Christmas break.

It is also a really good time to check for any unconfirmed attendances from previous weeks. You can do this by checking if there is an unconfirmed weeks box in the attendance worklist area of your portal.

If you have not done so already, please check that you've marked your Christmas break as a holiday in the maintenance section of the portal. Please make sure the following weeks are marked as holidays:

  • any weeks your Learning Centre is closed for holidays
  • any weeks your Learning Centre is only open for one day

This will automatically mark all students as on holiday, ensuring the portal is up to date.


Bonus reminder

Your students must have signed their EMA Learning Agreement Part 2 to be eligible for a January bonus payment. They must have done so no later than 2 December to be eligible.

It is now time for you to submit bonus confirmations on the Learning Centre Portal. To do this, go to Worklists and open the Bonus Worklist. Select the relevant week in the dropdown and then select Search.

Please remember that you should also make an update on the portal for students who have not achieved their targets. You can find more information about this in our bonus quick guide.

We'll begin paying January bonuses from Monday 9 January. You should confirm all bonuses by Friday 27 January.


EMA support desk – festive hours

Our support desk team is available to answer any day to day operational questions about individual students, application processing, payments and system issues. Over the festive period, their opening hours are:

  • Friday 23 December to Tuesday 27 December – closed
  • Wednesday 28 December to Thursday 29 December – open 10am to 4pm
  • Friday 30 December to Tuesday 3 January – closed

The support desk will return to business as usual on 4 January 2023.
